Alfonso Benavides is a real estate lawyer with 30 year experience in real estate matters. For 26 years, Alfonso was the lead legal advisor to international clients in all real estate related legal matters: structuring, acquisition, financing, etc. Over the last 5 years, he has put together a portfolio of roles, including: Secretary of the Board of AEDAS HOMES (Spanish quoted homebuilder), Senior Advisor to JLL Spain and non-exec Director and Secretary of AUXADI Holdco (International professional business services company, with HQ in Madrid and offices in 15 countries).
He is a member of Urban Land Institute Madrid Executive Committee, a non-profit he chaired for 7 years (until May 2021).
Mr. Benavides holds an LLM in European Law from the Institute of European Studies of the Free University of Brussels. He has a Law Degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He also develops an active academic activity as a Faculty Member at Instituto de Empresa and the Instituto de Estudios Inmobiliarios Financieros.
